As soon as I laid eyes on this pink velvet midi dress, I knew I had to have it. It’s the perfect Valentine’s Day date night outfit! The best part? It has a cape of sorts across the back. If you didn’t feel like Superwoman already…
The dress is super flowy, and has that old Hollywood glam feel. The velvet makes it especially comfortable to wear. The cut allows for room to breathe, so if you have a steak dinner while you’re wearing it (like I did before we shot those photos – oops) you can still feel pretty while full. (You know what I’m talking about!)
I paired the dress with metallic cage shoes to give it even more pizzaz.
Oh, the whimsical romance of it all. It feels so good to go glam, especially when your every day look as a mom may be functional, even fashionable, but probably has mashed avocado on it somewhere.
