Halloween Movie Snack Board

All set for the Halloween movie marathon? We’ve been watching a few this week already. We’re not really into the gorry stuff at our place but we’re all about a good psychological thriller or something family-friendly. There are great movie recommendations happening on my latest Instagram post. Check the caption for ours and the comments section for everyone else’s. I’m looking forward to watching Sixth Sense. Even though I’m aware of the ending – still freaks me out every time! LOL!

Today I wanted to share a simple and creative way to bring out your movie snacks! This Halloween movie snack board is super easy to throw together and I’m sure the kids will get a kick out of it! Here’s everything you’ll need, including where to get those festive wooden treat boards.

  • popcorn
  • mini Reese Peanut Butter Cups
  • Reese’s Pieces
  • cookie cutters – one ‘B’ and two ‘O’
  • creepy mini skeleton hands

Style your board working from the inside out.

If you want a treat board shaped for each holiday, check The Dollar Store. They typically have inexpensive mini wooden boards year-round that make for the perfect treat board! They’ve carried bat, ghost, pumpkin and cat shapes for Halloween. In years past for Christmas I’ve seen Santa faces, Christmas trees, ornaments, and elves. We’ll see what they come up with this year. Be sure to check back at KariSkelton.com in November. You know I’ll be styling and sharing some Christmas boards with you!
