Filled with yummy stuff. Your kids will love these healthy chick and bunny breakfast pops!
We’re getting festive with our breakfast this week! You can whip up these healthy chick and bunny breakfast pops in about 20 minutes and store in the freezer for the rest of the week. The moulds I use were for meal-sized portions but smaller ones would be perfect for snacks.
This is the type of healthy snack you can keep on hand throughout the year! Use different festive moulds depending on what season it is, and mix up the fruit and yogurt combos. I found these kiwi berries at our local Freson Bros. store. Never heard of kiwi berries? Take a closer look here. So good! Here’s how to put this together.
You’ll Need:
- Easter mould (here’s the one I used)
- popsicle sticks
- chopped up strawberries and kiwi berries
- granola
- shredded coconut
- vanilla and/or coconut Greek yogurt
- decorative eyes and bunny ears
- edible adhesive
Directions:
- Fill the bottom of the mould with yogurt.
- Add in chopped up fruit and granola.
- top off with more yogurt and smooth it out.
- lay popsicle stick at the bottom and cover the stick with a bit more yogurt to secure it.
- Pop in the freezer for two hours or overnight.
- Remove from moulds and use adhesive gel to tack on the eyes and ears decorations.
- Store in an airtight freezer-friendly container layered with wax paper.
