Cirque Almost Over: If you want to take in Kurios in Edmonton, you only have a few more days! I’ve never met a Cirque show I didn’t like. I wish we would have gone to this one. The show runs tonight, tomorrow and Sunday, and then it’s done. Get your tickets – here.
Cartago: The new restaurant and neighbourhood hangout is open! We went to the soft opening last night. Really inviting vibe and such a great date night with my guys. Be sure to check out their impressive line-up of bottled beer. Congrats to Katy, Jordan and their crew!
White Barn Market: This would be a fun day trip with a friend. The White Barn Market specializes in vintage, antiques, and special gifts. It goes Saturday from 10-4pm at RR 14 & Highway 39 in Thorsby. There will be additional markets on August 26 and September 9.
Shop 124: Come down to 124 Street and take in the amazing shops, restaurants, and Instagrammable walls! It’s one of our favourite areas of the city. My shirt is from Lipstick Empire on 124th Street (where right now, all Glam T’s are ‘buy one, get one 50% off’)!
Folk Fest Tickets: Folk Fest kicked off Thursday night and runs through Sunday evening. Have you just decided to go last minute? You can still snag a few tickets right here. We’ll be on the hill tonight for Wyatt’s first Folk Fest. I’ll be sure to post on Instagram Story. Wish us luck! 🙂
Ladies Night: Telus World of Science is hosting a Ladies night next Thursday, August 17. Dinner, drinks, entertainment, Prairie Couture Mobile Boutique will be set up for you to shop, and then the movie Hidden Figures in the IMAX theatre. Sounds fun! Get tickets and more details here.
Fringe: Take the kids during the day, then get a sitter so you can go at night. Edmonton’s Fringe Festival kicks off next Thursday, August 17 and runs until the 27th. It’s the biggest festival of it’s kind in North America (220 shows this year!). The Kids’ Fringe at Light Horse Park has been revamped to include a fairy garden where your babes can make crafts and watch performances. More details on all of it – here.
