Here are four subtle Valentine’s Decor Ideas that add just the right touch without going overboard.
Subtle Valentine’s Decor
Don’t get me wrong – over-the-top can be fun but if you want to keep it simple, these are four easy and inexpensive ways to do it. After the grandioseness of Christmas, it’s nice (and takes the pressure off) to add a touch here and a touch there of Valentine’s Day.
To me, Valentine’s is more about the treats anyway! Wyatt and I will be whipping up some fun crafts and cookies leading up to February 14, so watch for that over on my IG. Looking for ideas for your kid’s lunches or playdates? Check out the pretty Valentine’s Day Treat Tray I whipped up last year. For Galentine’s Day, be sure to check out our festive cocktail, Petal Punch! It glitters!
Fresh + Dried Floral
One of the most inexpensive ways to add a little Valentine’s Day touch to your space is with flowers. Of course, you can always head to your florist or you can decide on colour and theme for your space, hit the grocery store, and arrange beautifully all on your own. I personally love all white florals to really make a statement.
Dried floral and grasses may be a bit more of an investment but you’ll get more bang for your buck because they’ll last longer and can be used for other things. Pampas grass is one of my personal faves.
Garland
Pretty little garland strung across the mantle is a nice, simple way to infuse Valentine’s Day. Here’s one similar to mine.

Photos of Love
Whoever the love of your life is – your spouse, your kid, your pet – print and frame some photos around the house to remind you of all the love you have in your life! Choose frames to go along with the theme of the space and consider printing black and white – which is always romantical.
Framed Printables
Such an inexpensive way to decorate for any holiday! If you have a Canva account (or something similar), paper, and a printer – you’re all set! Or, research free printables online. Here’s one I created that you can use: Pink + Gold LOVE Printable.
